Talk with a few of my clients and potential clients, I realize there is a strong need in the entrepreneurial community for reliable invoicing software. Yes, you can make it happen via Word or Google Docs, but there are some really great software outlets online that are free and do more than just the job.

I won’t beat around the bush with a bunch of text trying to tell you why this information is so important to you. You have a business and sometimes you need to invoice folks for your work to have the record, so here we go.

Invoice MachineInvoice Machine

This happens to be the online invoicing software I use on a semi regular basis. Don’t have a great need for invoices on a monthly basis, so their free option is all I need. They allow you to create up to 3 free invoices a month for free. This does the trick for me because from time to time, I have a client that desires to have an invoice sent so they can mail a check. Most of my clients work through our automated back end system using credit cards, paypal or even echecks.

Nevertheless, when I do need to make a quick invoice, I always turn to Invoice Machines.

Other Options

There are actually 26 more options available to you. However, instead of listing them all here, I did a quick Google search and discovered that Mashable had already compiled the list and give you a snazzy little description of each one, so I will just share that like with you here: http://mashable.com/2013/09/03/free-invoicing-tools/

The word of caution or warning I will give is each of them have a varying level of the Freemium business model. This is where somethings are free, but if you want more advanced options or to send additional invoices, then you have to pay a fee.

If you have any questions, reach out to me. I’m here to help you and your business grow!
